GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
You don't have to be a GP member to take our fitness classes and no pre-registration is required, just come whenever you like! First time taking a class? Click here for a free fitness class pass (only one per client)!
Classes are for ages 14 and up, but 14-15 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18+ who is also taking the class. All classes include a devotional.
Single classes are just $3 for members / $5 for non-members. Pay at the front desk.

BODYPUMP is the original barbell workout for absolutely everyone. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (reps), BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout that burns calories, strengthens and tones.
TONE features the optimal mix of strength, cardio and core training. With three workouts in one, this is a great cross training option for busy people on the go!
CXWORX provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body while chiseling your waist line. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do - it's the glue that holds everything together.
RPM is an indoor cycling class set to the rhythm of motivating music. It blasts calories and builds aerobic fitness fast. Limited bikes are available so please sign up ahead of time at the Front Desk to reserve a bike.
GRIT includes three unique workouts (Strength, Plyo, and Cardio) featuring High Intensity Interval Training designed for ultimate results in minimum time.
BODYFLOW is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves, and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body in to a state of harmony and balance.
MAN UP is for anyone looking to improve their athletic, cardiovascular, and muscular performance through high intensity interval training, cross training, and strength training. This will be achieved through combining biomechanics used in sports medicine to prevent injury with the high heart rate and fat burning benefits of HIIT.
CARDIOCORE is a 30 minute workout that combines fun music, cardio moves, and functional core work. Cardio moves such as marching, jogging, squats, and lunges, will be combined with standing core work to burn calories and focus on a stronger core.
CYCLE HIIT will get your heart rate up while gaining strength and endurance through motivating music and peddle work. In this NEW high intensity interval training class, you will burn a lot of calories in just 30 short minutes. Limited bikes are available so please sign up ahead of time at the Front Desk to reserve a bike.
POUND ROCKOUT. WORKOUT. will channel your inner rockstar with this full-body cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, seat-dripping fun of playing the drums.
BOOM MIND takes the best athletic stretching and Pilates moves and combines them into one fusion class. Designed to relax the body and mind with peaceful music and rhythmic body movements, the focus of this class is on core, lower body strength, and balance. For active adults ages 55 and up.
CARDIO CYCLING is a great cardio and core workout with less impact and stress than jogging or treadmill workouts! Limited bikes are available so please sign up ahead of time at the Front Desk to reserve a bike.
REFIT is a group fitness experience that rocks your body, heart, and soul with powerful moves and positive music to inspire you from the inside out. REFIT classes propel students to their best selves through dance, toning, balance, and flexibility. It's designed for everybody and every body--regardless of age, shape, size, or ability.
ZUMBA incorporates Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to make this an exciting class of calorie-burning, body-energizing fun! Routines feature intervals of fast and slow rhythms and core training to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.
SILVERSNEAKERS is a class where you will have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Membership at The Gathering Place is a great way for older adults to stay fit!
We have two types of memberships for older adults:
1) Senior Annual Membership: $50 per year (for those over 65)
2) SilverSneakers® by Tivity Health Membership: No cost to you if your insurance includes SilverSneakers® as a benefit.
Senior fitness classes, including SilverSneakers®, BOOM®, Prime Movers, and Senior Volleyball are FREE to all Gathering Place members age 60 and up, whether membership was purchased as an individual or received through the Tivity Health benefit.
Non-member seniors over age 60 may participate in senior classes for $2 per class after filling out a waiver/in case of emergency form (on a space available basis).
Note: Regular (non-senior) group fitness classes, child care, and leagues are not included in GP/SilverSneakers memberships, but members receive a discounted price.

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living. Mon., Wed. & Fri. at 2 p.m. (60 min.)
MIND takes the best athletic stretching and Pilates moves and combines them into one fusion class. Designed to relax the body and mind with peaceful music and rhythmic body movements. The focus is on core, lower body strength and balance. Fitness level: Active adults ages 55 and up who are able to exercise in a standing position and get up and down from the floor. Wednesdays at 10:50 a.m. (30 min.)
Come discover the fastest growing sport in America! Pickleball is played on a badminton size court, but with a low net, a wiffleball, and paddles. This “league” is open to all ages, not just older adults. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Gather with your friends for some volleyball…played seated in a chair with a beach ball—minus the sand! Enjoy smiles, friendships, and activity with this group of seniors. Thursdays at 2 p.m.
